About: Individual therapy
I believe that self-awareness and authenticity are key in creating deeper and more satisfying connections.
In our therapeutic space, I will offer you a safe, open and compassionate space and I will invite you to explore aspects of yourself and how you relate to others. We will look at the stories that you’ve created over the years about yourself, how these stories were constructed, how they impact the way you feel nowadays and bring about new perspectives that could help you feel less constricted moving forwards.
I believe that because we are all diverse and need different things, at different times, there is no one-size fits all when it comes to therapy. We will co-create the therapeutic space together based on what you need and what you are looking for.
When supporting individuals, I inform my practice with many different approaches, including: internal family systems, attachment theory, systemic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, gestalt therapy, polyvagal theory and humanistic/person-centred approaches. If I feel it could be helpful, I might also propose that we include EMDR into our work (see EMDR section).
